recently i've been struggling a bit more with my disabilities and injuries due to the cold and being too lazy to get out of my warm bed to do things like "stretching" and "exercise." unrelatedly, i've also recently taken on a group of spirit guides that directly feed off of me and my energy. however, i keep forgetting to sit down and actually "feed" them, so i've been having more random bouts of dissociation and nausea which i believe are related. nothing too bad, but still annoying, and i wanted to find a more reliable way to feed them. thus, this spell arose!
i basically think of this as my spirits' automatic cat feeder that, every time i feel pain or negative emotions, gets transmuted into positive energy for them! now, this spell could also be used as a ward, as that's what it's based on, in which case your sigils and taglock should be more tailored towards that. i'll go over how to customize it to your needs, so don't worry.
MATERIALS:
-a jar or box, something with a lid
-something to hold each layer, i'm using solo cups but you could also use paper or ziploc bags
-baneful herbs associated with what you want to absorb (for a good list, check out this post i made)
-benevolent herbs associated with what you want the energy to be transmuted into (the ones i chose are related to peace and happiness)
-a taglock of yourself or your recipient (a crystal, a photo, biological material, a sigil, etc.)
-paper and a pen, for writing your sigils. maybe even some tape or glue
-ritual oil (optional)
STEPS:
-take two solo cups and cut them until they're about a half inch tall, fill one with your "negative" herbs, and one with your "positive" herbs
i chose nettle, pine needles, mugwort, thistle, sweetgum seed pods (also called witch balls), and chili powder for my negative and lavender, bee pollen, rosemary, calendula, salt, and cornflower for my positive.
-tape, glue, or somehow attach sigils to attract negativity, to purify, to transmute, and to attract positivity inside your container
i didn't include the specific sigils i used because i use them in some of my wards, and either way i highly encourage you to create your own! check out this post for a brief tutorial, but for a more in depth one i recommend the book sigil craft by lia taylor
-put your taglock at the bottom, anointing it in cleansing or ritual oil if you wish
for my taglock i chose a sigil that represents my spirits (shown below)
-tape your positivity cup to the walls so that it sits a little bit above the taglock
-tape your negativity cup to the walls a little bit above that
-close the lid, but no need to seal it, the container isn't very important to the spell. you can add a sigil to the lid as well, if you ran out of space inside for everything!

And now here is the “Prindella Grisbalda Dorey” profile in the official magazines, which also call her the “diabolical witch”.
They describe her as a “hideous witch with enormous powers”, and they also confirm that the clearer patches of skin on her body are indeed nasty warts. Apparently, these warts, along with her green skin and her ugly appearance, is due to the “corruption” of her body, caused by the practice of the dark arts. Because “everything has a prize”.
They mention her ability to turn other girls into witches. They call that “witchifying”, but it’s not an official term. They also explicitly say that this spell does not work on boys or men, and that the girl witchified are actually turned into “hideous parodies of their new mistress”, obeying to her every wishes and command. So, apparently, not all wicked witches look like the ones we see in this episode. If they all look the same in “Nightmare of the Coven”, it’s just because they were all corrupted by the power of Dorey, ending up as a copy of her.
They also mention her ability to turn people into rats and toads, and her tendency to “redecorate” rooms in a more “gothic” ambience. Nothing new.
And here we get to the backstory of Dorey.
She was apparently born, and lived, in Salem (presumably around the witch trials, at the end of the 17th century). She was the daughter of a good witch, who used “white/benevolent magic” to cure people and ease people’s pains. That’s actually how Prindella started in the magic world: her mother taught her everything she knew. However, Prindella’s mother was soon arrested by the Inquisition (and probably tortured, even though it’s not mentioned). Knowing that she was a witch, they burned her at the stake, without any remorse. Prindella sworn to avenge the death of her mother, and to do so she learned everything she could about the dark arts. She ended up selling her soul to “the powers of hell”, which gave her in return the means to make the inquisitors pay. However, the practice of dark magic ended up corrupting her spirit, and she became dangerous. Seeing that, if they did nothing, Prindella would spread out evil on Earth, her “witches sisters” decided to exile her in the bowels of the earth, where she couldn’t hurt a soul.
Now, that being said, a big question must be asked: how could a Salem witch end up in Southern France? Is it because her vengeance made her travel to Europe to find back the inquisitors who hurt her mother? Was she trying to destroy the whole Inquisition, and not just the judges who put her mother to death, and thus went to France to destroy the European Inquisition? Or did she choose to return to the Old World after having completed her vengeance, to start her new “world domination” plan? We will probably never know.
However, it kind of makes sense for Dorey to be American. Would explain her use of “Novus ordo seclorum” and all the references to the Wizard of Oz.
And one thing I’d like to point out: with this episode and the Bogeyman one, it seems that the “witch magic” has a tendency to manifest itself as a green light. I would also say green slime, but the green slime is in fact the trademark of the show, and every supernatural being produces some of it, so… I’ll stay with the green light.
