It’s hard to tell based on the color timing of this scene, but I’m pretty sure this is brown. It is a seed stitch sweater with ribbed bands and drop shoulders. There are also buttons on the shoulder, behind the seam line, at least on the left side. I don’t think there’s ever really a clear view of the right side.

Edit to add: I noticed after posting that one of my pictures does show the right shoulder, no buttons. Some research suggests this is a relatively common design feature in historical or nautical themed garments. The buttons would be on the left to make it easier for a right handed person to do up.
