Now he doesn't have to be yours, and I have no possible hint of disdain for any other Spock actor. I respect Nimoy to the highest degree, and though I haven't watched much of SNW, Ethan Peck seems to be doing a fine job. But I just rewatched the AOS movies and I want to talk about Quinto's Spock.

The storyline itself is my favorite portrayl of Spock. The way it clearly shows the inner-tormoil of Spock's human side conflicting with his Vulcan side in a way we've never before seen in Star Trek.

He's vulnerable. He's an asshole. He's overwhelmed 200% of the time. He's a mommas boy. He's gay as fuck. He somehow pulls off the haircut?

But the way Quinto plays him too. The way as you watch the movies you start to notice how his mouth quirks up a little when he's amused, or his eyes sparkle when he's excited, or the barely concealed break in his voice when he's hurt or very emotional.

Theres just little things I am absolute obsessed with because when he's surrounded by humans it comes off as absolutely no emotion at all but when compared to his Vulcan counterparts it is everything.
