Do you think the reason we find it so hard to say no as adults...
Is because our parents ingrained the thought of, "LISTEN TO ME WHEN I ASK YOU TO DO SOMETHING." So now when anyone asks us to do something we feel very guilted, pressured, uneasy about having to do the task because we were asked to? Even if we don't want to? Literally my brain exploded.
Cutting and barrel racing are so much fun I've been doing them forever and I never get sick of them!
Yeah. They sound like a hell of a lot of fun. I’d also maybe like to try reining. My trainer did reining when she was kid and talks about how much fun it was.
Not necessarily an opinion but more of a question... Do you know the normal height of a horses hoof at the heel.... ?? The lady i ride for trims her horses so their heels are pretty much on the ground... The horses don't seem to mind but i don't think it's quite good for them???
Um. I don’t exactly think they’re supposed to touch the ground. It really depends on the hardness of the hoof, the type of shoe, and the ridding it does.

1: If your horse could talk what would they say? What would they be like?
Glory is a big boss mare type but she’s really pretty sweet so she’d probably be very confident and maybe a little bitchy.
2: If you were a horse, what would you look like (color, markings, etc), what discipline would you do, and what would you be like to ride?
If I go off what I look like, I’d be a brown bay color. Nothing real special. I’d hope to be a sunburnt black horse (you know, the black with the red mane) with no real markings other than maybe a sock or two. I’d either be a trail horse, a roping horse, or a dressage horse. I’d probably be a lot like Glory, a big baby that’s a huge bitch to ride but worth it.
3: How many barns have you ridden at?
I’ve only ridden at the one barn.

What kind of western events?
Mostly just trails. I’ve been riding at a pleasure barn a little and I find that fun. I’m hoping to start barrels with Glory. I may try roping or cutting or something with my dad’s help.
