I received my first tarot deck in the mail today, The Wild Unknown tarot deck beautifully & wonderfully created by Kim Krans. Already I feel so peaceful and humbled by them. This is my first proper interaction with tarot cards, they are truly magnificent. I spent time reading through the guide book, simply absorbing the words. I would pick up a card, look at it, feel it's energy, try to decipher what it may symbolize and then I would check the guidebook. (I got through all the Ace cards before deciding I would continue on later tonight.) Often times I was on the right path, which speaks highly to the thoughtfulness that went into the cards. After letting the meaning settle a little in my mind I would move onto the next card, but not before sensing what was a fitting way to show a grateful and welcoming gesture to the card I held. Sometimes I kissed the card, other times I just brushed my thumb along it as a gentle display of affection. These cards are mine, they are worthy of good energy and to feel at home with me. I am so excited to see where my journey with these cards go!
