I have a chugger pump and figured I should have a better way to control it than plugging it in to an extension cord every time. So I bought a switch that controls a socket...
So far I don't think there will be any problems with this set-up. I did have to go back to Lowe's for a compression fitting to seal down around the wire entering the junction box from the back.
