Probably cornflower too but I have no idea what it tastes like. That being said tonight was an easy choice as I haven’t had this beer since 2015,when I first had it. And we got it in @brewerycreek today with a few others. 🤘🏻🍺yeah my work sucks!!....NOT . . • The Last Strawberry Wit 4.9% @fuggleswarlock 🍓🍺🤘🏻brewed with fresh strawberries and you can taste it. This is one fruit that’s not easy to brew with and it’s hands down better than Fruli🤷🏼‍♀️so with not having it pass my lips since 2015 I was looking forward to tasting to see if my expanded beer palate still liked it??...yep still tasty. Nice and light with fresh strawberry notes. I had my 1 year review at work today 🤘🏻and with it pissing rain I decided to treat myself to something I usually pass by in the shelf ay work. Mostly because I had it back in 2017 and I try to stick to having new beers for my homework. But sometimes you just have to revisit a beer to see how much your pallet has changed over the years and if it’s changed for the better or the worse🤔🍺🤘🏻my skull glass is perfect to enjoy this dark river Skáll . . • Garūn Nr.19 - Icelandic Stout 11.5% @borgbrugghusnl 🤘🏻right off the bat I have to say that it tastes WAY WAY better than I remember from the last time I had it. Also that it does NOT drink like it’s 11.5% and it’s hitting the spot for a rainy day beer. Smooth mouth feel with coffee notes and subtle layers of licorice.
