almost forgot to answer this oops. and now it’s 2:30am so these’ll be fun.
1) Game Nights. It might be little and sometimes the game(s) we play aren’t my favorite, but having a scheduled weekly thing to hang out with a group of friends is just really nice?? Like random hanging out always seems so weird to suggest unless there’s a reason (like studying) or something to do (like going to an event) and there isn’t always one of those so I don’t suggest hanging out as often as I want to. But wednesday-turned-tuesday game night is something to look forward to and at least one night I’m not hanging out by myself in my room in an apartment with people I’m not friends with.
2) Girl Scout Cookies. I’m so excited. SOON.
3) All my wall decorations. Fairy lights, my too-big-to-be-classy-i’m-supposed-to-be-an-adult poster collection (streetlight, toh kay, SPG, drum corps art, nerdfighteria-related, SU, CAMB, LoK, furiosa, starry night, seashells), my grad cap, parts of my fabric stash, my star wars calendar where princess leia is the picture for february with the “help me obi-wan” quote that i taped over and changed to the “help me obi juan whoever the fuck you are you’re my only ho” carrie fisher tweet
4) learning something new in the process of making a cosplay, doing it successfully, and then also the validation that i at least made it moderately well when people recognize it. (or even more validation when people compliment it and don’t even know what it is at all *ahemrabbit*)
5) did you think i was gonna get through this list without mentioning band? lol. band. just all of it. from 4th grade till now just the whole thing. all 14 (WTF) years.

all throughout the weekend i think cupcake and josh were realizing just how much i wasn’t kidding when i said i was trash, like my reaction to seeing bunny walk by, and how i knew ALL the words to ALL the songs for EIGHT HOURS. so i’m kinda glad i didn’t mention to them that “the lady from tumblr” that i was trying to find is also “that lady that wrote over 300,000 words of fanfic about who honeybee was and also the spine had a wife and kids but it all actually makes sense somehow”
