i like to think marinette and adrien both have very developed tastes in fashion but their styles are different. adrien likes more experimental art noveau stuff and marinette prefers basic casual wear or cutesy formal wear

adrien is a sentimonster. or is at least revealed to be one

his amok is in Gabriel's ring, and somehow they take down hawkmoth.

adrien discovers his own amok, and he earnestly wants to somehow trade his vessel for something else. mostly because he hates the reminder of his father, and partly because he wants to return the rings to the Graham De Vanily family- maybe not completely intact, but the thought counts

he's standing on the rooftop next to ladybug, who he still doesnt know is his cute classmate Marinette. somehow, again, they got the peacock miraculous.

she unifies with the it, and she takes the ring from his hands.

"are you sure you want to do this?" she asks. "we have no idea what could happen."

"i have nothing left to lose." he replies, as ladybug takes the ring and crushes it between her palms

he winces visibly, but ladybug quickly catches the feather, holding it between her thumb and index finger.

chat stands up straight as soon as ladybug twirls the feather between her fingers.

they both feel bad for a moment.

"so, what would you want to contain this in? it ought to be something secure, kitty. or you won't hear the end of it from me-"

her speech stops as the cat pulls out a colorful charm of miscellaneous beads, one she knows all too well.

"this. its my most precious possession."

ladybug doesn't say anything, simply pressing the feather into the charm, sending waves of passion into adriens heart.

he cries at the feeling of finally being himself. being adrien agreste, instead of being Adrien Agreste.
