A very happy World Bee Day! I really like bees, so today - I have to go into my university's city on Tuesdays for my once-a-week lecture - I took my Jellycat Albee and my Hugs & Snugs bee, who I've named Beatrice, into the city with me, including having them sitting there while I was in the back of a pub before the lecture.
I even chose the specific pub I went to because it's bee-themed, and the pictured ice cream I had was honey flavoured. π―π Also, the Bee Happy keyring was sewn and made for me a little while ago by my mum. I carry it around with me as some positivity for whenever I'm feeling stressed. π₯°
Remember: we need to look after our pollinators, mainly because of the role they have in the growth of flowers and partly because they're just adorable little fuzzy fellows. I saw someone say on TV this morning that to help bees, you could let a part of your garden grow wild with flowers, you could leave out a tray of shallow drinking water for them with some small rocks in the tray for them to land on, and/or you could get one of those bee hotels for your garden. πβ€οΈ
