Time to Flip Out! . Finally got a chance to prep some bedsโonly about a month late ๐ . Cleared over-wintered crap to the compost pile, left roots in soil, added a 50/50 compost / blended soil mix, hand-tilthed in some amendments (kelp & alfalfa meal, pinch oโ azomite, & mycorrhizae), & re-installed the drip ๐ฅณ . Compost delivered in bulk is still steaming at center of pile, so letting sit a bit before planting into (hope the peas & potatoes survive ๐ฌ). . Two small beds remaining will be used as cold frames for seed starts, as soon as I build the frames ๐ By that time will prob be warm enough to not need ๐ But still expecting another cold snap sometime next couple weeks ๐ค .
