headcanon + Nicolas

What a complicated subject. Antoine knows Nicolas best from the books and interactions here. He feels, bad, for Nicolas. Some resentment towards Leatat even though Antoine doesn't know the entirety as he wasn't there personally. He understands the lull of madness born from creativity paired with the lust from blood. Heartache for Nicolas.
But he doesn't think Nicolas is tragic. That would be extremely unfair. Nicolas, to Antoine, was another unfortunate casuality in Lestat's story and an omen on things to come. He likes Nicolas. He's funny. His rudeness and brash behavior are charming. He won't call him friend outright, but he likes him. He respects him, even if he is a violinist.
