@beautheft sent - Hewwo!!! My name is Keres & I really like aliens & cryptids & mythology stuff. My favorite cryptids are the Kelly Hopkinsville Goblin & my favorite alien encounter story is the story of Ned the alien who crash landed in Aurora Texas & was giving a name & burial by the residents of the town. I'm also really bad at keeping plants alive despite writing multiple characters who enjoy/are proficient gardeners. ( Message Me Your Name & Something About You - Accepting! )
I WANT TO GET TO KNOW YOU GUYS SO MESSAGE ME YOUR NAME AND SOMETHING ABOUT YOU.
Hey, Keres! I think that's extremely cool! Reminds me of a book of mythological cryptids and creatures that my brother got at a book store when we were kids - it was a really in depth and detailed book which included facts about them, where they would be found and it broadly covered a wide range of them from figures featured in mythology such as Fenrir and the Minotaur to even different types of aliens like Gray Alien and the Jersey Devil. The spooky art for it definitely did not help haha but it created a fascinating mental image. I'd never heard of the story of Ned the alien but it sounds surprisingly wholesome for an alien story since Ned was named and buried. Haha, we love to see a bit of irony! I write a muse who loves sports and yet I'm not so keen! Still, I think it's the contrasts that keep writing them so fun! It's wonderful meet you, Kere! Glad we could chat a bit!
@beautheft sent - What is an aspect of your muse that youβve wanted to explore the most? & How has your muse changed since youβve first started to write them? ( Easy Meme for a Burnt Out Mun - Accepting! )
What is an aspect of your muse that youβve wanted to explore the most?
I'd love to explore maybe more of his backstory growing up in Hokkaido! Like, how he got into track, his life with just him and his Ma - maybe some of the friends he might have had! I think that'd be fun and since there's so little canon info, it leaves a lot of blank space.
How has your muse changed since youβve first started to write them?
Over time I've definitely tried to lean more into his loudmouth and goofy side - for a long time, it was something I avoided because of how exaggerated it was or how it was an easy excuse for people to godmod. Also, maybe it's just the time writing him speaking speaking but I like to think my Ryuji is a bit more of a mature Ryuji - someone who does try to consider others and who has a better sense of who he is! It's been a joy to write him for so long, honestly.
"Ohh, thanks for peeling it! That's always the most annoying part!" He appreciates you, Haru!

π§΅: for our muses to fix something broken together.
Akira was anything but a mister fix-it, but after going about what could be the problem with Morgana heβd spent the night tinkering away at a broken toaster, trying to revive it somehow. It almost seemed an impossible task but thanks the amount of proficiency heβs able to garner the year prior..well it made those harder things that much easier to deal with.Β
βReowr, look at you go. Iβll chalk this up as one of my many moments of prime teachings.β His cat utters in the background watching the teen go, and by the end of the night the former thief had managed to fix the toaster..kind of.
Now fast forward into the present, heβs seen within the dining area within Big Bang Burger. It was a closed day, mostly for the workerβs benefit, and it gave Haru and Akira the best opportunity to tackle this project together. Theyβve saved Japan and possibly the world last year, one ice cream shouldnβt be a problem. βAlright, Iβll need a screwdriver.β He utters softly and Haru, his assistant/partner in crime, would aid him with presenting the tool as he continues tinkering in the back, this continued on for two hours as the clock struck 11AM.Β
βThere, we did it. One working ice cream machine.β And they didnβt even need Morgana or some guy. Just like always, theyβve encountered a problem and faced it together. Heh, heβs feeling rather invincible today, and so after adjusting his glasses, Akira stepped towards the front and places a waffle cup at the stand under the nozzle and then he turned on the device. It starts off great, the soft-serve delight poured beautifully onto the cup until the machine began shaking and began pouring ice cream down with the force of a power hose before shutting down completely out of order: mission failed. βWell thatβs depressing..Sorry Haru.β

"I don't hate you." There's nothing that spurs on this confession. Except for maybe the tension that hung in the air between them. Thick enough that even a butcher's knife would have trouble slicing through it. But even that hadn't been bothering Haru. She'd have been fine to sit in silence with Akechi waiting for the others to return to the cafe so they could plan their exploration of Mementos. "I don't want you worrying about that." She means that very genuinely. Though she also doubts he was actually worried at all or even cared for that matter. Which only raises the question further... Why is she telling him this? Even she can't say "I don't forgive you either. I'm simply content to work with you. I want to see an end to this fake world just as you do."
There was a dissonance that existed within Akechi, a series of proliferating fractures through his sense of identity that could end only in ruin. He had looked down upon them, contempt and ridicule buried beneath an amiable pretense ( β¦. )Β but in the end, was it only he, himself, who was deceived? Haru holds his gaze with an indomitable resolve, stating it as if it were an indisputable fact, devoid of the roiling emotion that tended to drive him. Whatever she saw in those shattered pieces of glass, fragments of the person Akechi had spent years devising, was something that was harder still for him to face. Bereft of his anger, left to the chasmic void vengeance would leave in its wake, who would Goro Akechi become? There had never been enough time afforded to him to even begin considering that fact. Β Did Haru know something he didnβt? The very prospect of that pissed him off. Nettled, the Detective Princeβs gaze bore into her with the cordiality of his smile never quite reaching his eyes. Akechi didnβt hate her either, not truly, but for someone who knew only the acrid taste of resentment and little else, how could he ever truly know what else there was?
β I donβt remember asking for your forgiveness.β He says, and though his voice held little animosity its decisive chagrin gives away just how deeply her admission had cut. But now Akechi is looking at her whereas before he was looking through her, as if she were a transparent obstacle between him and a final, necessary justice. β But if it alleviates your concerns.β She had none, and he was entirely aware. β I donβt hate you either.β And even Akechi couldnβt say when the line between hatred and any other feeling had begun to feel that much clearer for him.Β
She gives him a hand axe and pats his shoulder "Should anyone who ever wishes to court you make you uncomfortable, remind them that the density of trees and bones aren't so different."
Anonymously give my character relationship advice.
"...Does that still work without the axe...?" He's looking at it rather intently. Hand axes were actually lighter than he had previously guessed. Still not his weapon of choice, though...
"I don't think I'd go on a date in my fur." So less weapons options.
