One of the all time legends of @crossfit visited us at @beastriver today! He’s the man who did the Iron Triathlon with @dan_bailey9, the man who podium’d along side @mathewfras @richfroning in 2014 and won it all in 2008... his list of accomplishments goes on. Another amazing comp in the books for the @beastriver crew! Teamwork made the dream work. Our sQUAD🏋🏼‍♀️🏋🏼‍♀️🏋🏻🏋🏼 took first in Bonnie & Clyde (hit 37 rounds + 12 reps in 18 minutes: movements were deadlifts, lunges, burpees, and kettlebell snatches... all done in the sand). And I PR'd my clean complex at 135# (clean/thruster/front squat/jerk) and my power clean at 145#. The sun☀️ was out, the guns💪 were out. The sky was out, the thighs were out🌤. First out of state Competition and we took... 6th out of 20! Highlights: (1) Cait killed the snatch ladder; (2) I took 1st in DT at 4:03; (3) we made it to the finals and finished the Chipper under the time cap; (4) the CFER Angelz also rocked their heats; and (5) Steph @svogues braided our hair perfectly.
