We’re excited to open submissions for the next issue of Beast Grrl Zine:

Affirmation is about love and care, for ourselves but also for those around us. In conceptualizing this theme, we were thinking a lot about the current political climate in the United States. In these times of post-truth and alternative fact it’s important to affirm our beliefs: to stand up for ourselves and for every person targeted by hateful rhetoric or action. With Affirmation we want to talk about how what we fight for makes us who we are.

Here’s some inspiration for Affirmation:
