Late again, whoops. Headcanon time! The calamity 10000 years ago may be implied to be the last time Ganon rose... but really it was a much earlier cycle. Like two or three heroes after Skyward earlier and before basically every other known one. The tech was mostly buried but some things remained, mostly in hands other than the Hyrulians, like the Gorons who used beamos in their mines until the ability to make or maintain them was finally lost. The temple of time beamos are a hyrulian design, pre-sheikah banishment and kept in a timeless place, the tower of the gods stuff is a blend of sheikah and hyrulian... whatever the hell the Zonai were. Anything else is either maintained by later peoples or reverse engineered by them.
