I saw this great quote, and I wish I could put it everywhere “Be a fountain, not a drain”. Look at the situations in your life. Look at your relationships. Are you a fountain, or a drain? When you talk to your friends, your family members, even your coach, are you adding benefit and light? Are you focused on how you can add value and happiness to each endeavour you are a part of? Are people more energized after talking to you? Or completely emptied out? When you add value to people’s lives, you unlock the secret, and unlimited wealth and happiness will come to you. When you only think about what you can ‘get’ out of people, you end up blocking your resources. People don’t want to be around you when you’re draining, and true happiness comes from helping and servicing people, not the other way around (believe it or not) and you won’t see the benefits you’re truly after. People will be excited to help you, when you’re excited to help them. Be a fountain, not a drain. #beafountain (at Pennsylvania)
