After the boat crashed the ninjas are thrown into shark infested water. Â The next couple pages are the pinnacle of human achievement. Â Of particular note:.
-Snake-Eyes rides and stabs a big shark
-Beach-Head calmly shoots up a bunch of sharks that are an arms length away
- Snake-Eyes rides and stabs a big shark
When I was a child there was nothing I liked more than sharks and G.I. Joes. Â Needless to say, this is the greatest panel of all time. Â
-G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #47 (Hama and Whigham)

Who Cares About My Top 10 GI Joes Ever?
10. Headhunter Stormtrooper
 9. Metal-Head
8. Gristle
7. Headman
6. Mercer
5. Destro
4. Dice
3. Guile (Street Fighter II)
 2. Johnny Cage (Mortal Kombat)
1. Sgt. Slaughter
The Sgt. Slaughter figure in particular has a lot of sentimental meaning for me. Â When I was a kid (and now) I really looked up to my dad. Â No one has ever looked up to their dad more than I look up to mine. Â I got this figure mostly because it looked a lot like him, and I'm sure when I played as a 3 or 4 year old it was my dad beating up all of the bad guys. Â But not only did this toy get me into GI Joes and toys in general, Â it also got me into wrestling, which is one of my biggest passions to this day.
I still have this little guy in my apartment on a "save box" that I keep in my closet. Â I've given all of my old toys to my son, who is now 3, except for Sarge, because I'd be crushed if something happened and it got broken.
Your turn... what are your 10 favorite Joes? Â Pics appreciated!
