At least we get a “fuck yeah Leatherneck moment” (check out Dr. Mindbender’s flowing cape as he jumps out of the exploding chopper)

Snake-Eyes may have forgiven Stalker for almost leaving him behind in Vietnam, but Stalker still can’t get over his biggest regret.

Stalker’s guilt and his need to repay his dept is one of the most human and compelling things in the comic.  It’s just another reason why Stalker is such a great character (outside of his design and level of badassery)

Can anyone confirm or deny?

...and here’s Snake-Eyes being unmasked (it’s been a while since I read the issue but for some reason Snake disguised himself as Flint and got captured on purpose; he probably did it to find the location of the Terror Drome)

So the three got unmasked, but nothing was revealed

The cover for issue 55 promises the unmasking of Cobra Commander, Destro, and Snake-Eyes

Well, here are the two bad dudes unmasking. I imagine Hama and Whigham were giggling when they made this page and probably asked something along the lines of “I wonder how many idiots really thought we’d show their real faces?”  

Serpentor has big plans for Cobra Plans to make Cobra a real state A state sponsor of terror, but a full fledged state nonetheless 

Also, Cobra Commander and Destro are totally alive

Moving/packing puts things in perspective, sometimes a weird perspective

For instance the movie I’ve seen the most amount of times, White Chicks, wedged between lackluster anime, the Gundam 00 movie, and not so great wrestling, JCW.

The end of issue 54 teased a Joe leaving the team.  Thankfully it’s just Grunt, and it’s nothing tragic or horrific.  He’s just using his benefits to go to school.

This development gives Grunt an interesting twist (which he sorely needed) and shows that a happy ending is possible for these elite commandos.   alt text: Grunt No More
