Persuasion (1995) is streaming on Tubi — but it didn’t quite persuade me. A quiet BBC adaptation that left me waiting for a spark. My reaction is now live on Sunset Movie Reviews.

Decided to watch What We Did On Our Holiday, where David Tennant plays a characters called Doug, who in the opening scenes makes a comment about how they’ll take the M25 and that traffic can’t be that bed. Immediate next scene, they are stuck in stand still traffic on the motorway.

Watching “Love Is the Devil: Study for a Portrait of Francis Bacon“ and the combination of Daniel Craig’s dyed black hair and the 1960s setting provides an interesting look into an AU where he plays a period piece Bond with the literary character’s black hair.
