Bazarre was a large space station located in the Outer Rim. Owned by entrepreneur Orion Ferret, the station was the size of a large city, filled with many market stands. Although it was promoted as a place of legitimate business, many shady deals were struck within its walls.

Market Street
Something a bit more colorful this time. My Patrons on Patreon decided they wanted to see a rainy sci-fi street depicting a busy market. This scene posed two challenges for me: color and characters as my environments tend to be characterless and more on the monochromatic side. Also, most of the references I looked for depicting markets in sci-fi movies were mostly dark and monochromatic...there is one exception: "The Fifth Element"...but I don't recall any market scenes. So, I went back to a classic: "Blade Runner" and started from there.
I will be releasing the realtime video, PSD file and brushes of this image at the end of next week on my PATREON. I will also be adding step by step images complemented by descriptions of what was done in each stage and a descriptive overlay on top of the final image pointing out interesting aspects of the image and thoughts that went into the creation of the painting.
