“what? no word directly from you for three months and all of the sudden you decide to drop by?“ maybe dick called him, which, considering how the two had been recently, jason is sure it’s the case. perhaps bruce knew everything; the fight with rachel, his reaction to rose, his need to fight and prove himself, how dick put him on the ground in half a second causing him to go outside like a kid. “checking on your charity case for once?” he really doesn’t want to call himself that. deep down, perhaps he knew it wasn’t like this; bruce wayne didn’t need charity with a street kid. but he wants bruce to hurt, and perhaps confirmation, validation.           he drops the bag he had been carrying around with clothes to the ground.the robin suit on the case by his side. “you know you fucked up old man when I would prefer to be on the streets than spend another second here.” language, master jason, alfred’s voice calls him out and he shuts his mouth for a second before looking away. “i hate it.”
