ϟ —— SORRY I'M LATE

Hey all! I honestly don’t have the time nor the energy to run Barry on a separate blog at the moment. This blog is going to be ‘archived’  for now and I’m moving Barry to my multi-muse. There’s more reasons to this too but I’m not going to bother to list them all out, I just want to have fun writing again lmao

❝ Okay how about THIS ONE then. ❞ And he’s quick -- so quick. Darting to be in front of Ollie before any movement can be made or any COMMENT could be said to him. LIGHTNING in his eyes as his emotions spike --- for once, Barry’s anger was getting the better of him. ❝ Flash Fact: you’re just an asshole that is also simply stating facts. You can be BOTH Ollie. YES-- I’m often on Batman’s side on some things but I also have the LUXURY or curse to listen to everything and everyone and then have those things you call seconds to sit in my brain and sort it all out and figure out what’s GOOD and what wouldn’t be so good. But MAYBE you’d get the bigger picture on some things if you were more of a TEAM PLAYER and not all about yourself half the time. ❞ His voice picks up speeds as he says this.  Fingers tightening into fists and RELAXING as he knows better then to take a real swing --- he wasn’t Hal. He knew NOT to punch his friends EVEN if they were causing him grief.  ❝ HOW ABOUT THIS ONE Ollie, you be the leader of the league for a day and see how many tough calls you have to make before everyone starts to hate you. ❞ And this time he points, finger pressing  into Ollie’s chest into a mild shove, mouth stretched into a frown. ❝ How about instead of ARGUING with anything you don’t like you make constructive alternatives and be helpful. But you won’t --- because anything you don’t like you start arguments and fights with. ❞ 

❝ Yes -- I’m too nice. Maybe I’m just tired of seeing so many problems that I’d rather put my energy into positive things then negative. Sure, whatever, I don’t CARE if Hal likes you better. If being cool means being an asshole then I don’t want to be it. ❞

It takes a moment for it to register exactly what Hal said, a moment too long for a speedster in all honesty. Words seeming to slowly roll around in his brain before it all clicked into place and for half a second, Barry wondered if he should be taking Hal’s temp. ❝ Are you feeling okay? You’re not sick right? ❞

“This is... probably true. I wonder who would win though in a chili dog eating contest. Bart or you.”
