fun fact that i, a one piece intellectual, happen to know: this bug is named Batchee. in the anime he is a silverfish native to the baratie but in the original fullbody just happens to carry bugs on him so that he can karen at restaurants

Happy birthday to Batchee, king of being put in food in an attempt to discredit a restaurant. He is small, friendly and nothing is known about his personality.
A bug peacefully scouring the Baratie restaurant, Batchee was brutally killed by Lt. Fullbody in an extortion attempt to make it look like there were dead bugs in Sanji’s soup. Fortunately, Sanji beat his ass, but that won’t bring Batchee back. rip. :(
P.S. In the manga, Batchee is very clearly a common housefly. Whereas in the anime, it’s an indiscernible bug. He is a long brown bug, with two antennae, two little black eyes, ten legs, and two long appendages jutting from its behind. This does not describe any real-worldly bug, and it can only be assumed that the anime created an entirely new species exclusive to the One Piece world for no apparent reason.
