I, a person who has never worked with clay, was given three pounds of air-dry clay for Christmas.
I think I have found its purpose.
I wonder how many three pounds will make.

imagine like. all the robins being deaged to when they first became robin
so you’ve got all them in various stages of preteen/teenager, right? duke, who’s sixteen with none of the training and all of the righteous anger. damian, who’s nine and trying to earn his place in a family that (he believes) doesn’t want or need him. steph, who’s eighteen(?) and going to be robin whether the bat likes it or not. tim, who’s thirteen and determined to save batman from himself. jason, who’s twelve and wants to do good, to give back, to be magic.
then there’s dick, who’s two years old and a bouncing ball of energy. his mama’s little robin, bob-bob-bobbin’ along.
reminder that this is what bats being held inhumanely look like !
many photographers/researchers either pin the bats wings back or hold them outstretched by their wrists, which are both inhumane and incredibly painful for the bat.
so next time you see a 'cute' up-close shot of a bat, please check if its facial expression matches any of these before sharing/interacting with it, as it spreads and normalizes the inhumane methods of handling bats — thank you !
