i feel like an imposter when i write my oc interacting with canon characters (which..obviously he does a lot) im like..who r u why are u taking this much space in the story and then its a momen where im exploring how the characters grieve him so obviously hes gonna take space he JUST DIED

does anyone else feel 'bad' at making ocs that get slotted into core canon......like..i have batman oc...and he becomes robin for like 2 years(because he also dies)after jason dies...and then he gets brought back by talia...and i hate it because im just like:"man. i have no inspiration. i steal all my ideas." when fundamentally the guy is nothing like jason but he FEELS like a copy paste of jason and it FEELS like the 'and bumblebee!" ttgo joke. im gonna explode.

remember i saw a video talking about Robins and Anita Jean,I got intrigued about this whole "first Robin" thing and read it,i liked it and i liked AJ as an anti-hero,and I hope she comes back,but the guy in the video couldve said she wasn't *actually* Robin, and that she only got delusions of grandeur,bcs in the comments people were acting as usual ,talking about dick,but if they took a moment ACTUALLY read the story theyd find out,no,AJ was never a Robin,she helped Bruce a few times in his early days before she shot and killed her abusive father figure,Bruce didn't approve and she faked her death,but she was never an actual Robin,Dick was always the first Robin,AJ was just ..I wanna say a character like Rick Jones in Hulk early days
