Because he translates human songs into Inklish, can Basil speak any human languages, even if only a little?
Basil can roughly understand & speak English, (Although he has a heavy accent) and is trying to learn other languages as well, such as French and Japanese.
What is Basil’s favorite human song? And how accurate is his translation of the lyrics?
I'm going to reiterate here: I don't listen to music that often, so instead of listing a specific song, I'm just going to list characteristics that he likes.
He likes songs that have clear diction in their lyrics, if for nothing but the superficial reason that they're easier to translate.
That's all I can think of right now...
As for how well he can translate lyrics, he's spotty at translating them by ear at best, but because the primary method his friend group has been translating media using has been through text, he has an easier time if the lyrics are written down.

Deep down, Basil longs for companionship. A pure innocent friendship with someone who doesn’t know about their crimes. A friendship in which they can be just like their childhood self. Someone to take the place of their closest brother. But the Basil from back then is gone, and they will never experience those feelings again

12: do they tend to hold a lot of tension in their body? if so, where?
being trained in taekwondo and a licensed massage therapist, basil actually has a lot of strategies for releasing their tension. they're aware of where they usually hold their tension (hips and shoulders), and know that it's generally not good for either fight or flight, so they are good at tensing and then releasing to like. get through stressful situations (which is pretty much their entire life at this point)
21: without revealing any secrets, how much of your character’s backstory does the rest of your party know about? 20%? 75%? 0%?
the other players know the basic rundown: secret time loop experiment, basil destroyed the lab and killed all their siblings to escape, attempted to turn themself in but no one believed them. blah blah blah. the characters do not know anything except that basil has killed people before, and has a lot of weird trauma. our gm knows a lot of details from experiment 421, as well as some background about basil's family and the criminal investigations into their mysterious deaths.
28: what is something that helps to comfort them?
working on their home repairs (they are extremely bad at carpetry, think load bearing pvc pipes). buying a fuck ton of fast food and then going home and looking at the abundance and not eating any of it. going for long rides on their motorcycle
