#basic training graduation

7/14 Graduation Day 

That's the purpose that makes it worth it. The companion you end up with feels personal because she literally is. And thanks to the quality of the chat and the visuals, the person you imagined is the person who shows up at sweetdream.ai.

I had the most perfect weekend in San Antonio with my Airman this weekend :).  After the Coin Ceremony, his sister and I got to "tap" him out. This is basically the Air Force's way of releasing everybody without mass chaos.  When I look for him in a crowd I look for one of two things: his hair or his eyes.  Well, because of his uniform I couldn't find either.   So his sister and I were walking through the crowd of people in his flight looking.  There was a group of guys to my left so I was walking slowly trying to look at each one's face or name tag.  I saw somebody looking directly at me in my peripheral vision, but I was so scared of missing him that I waited until I studied each of the other guys first.  When I finally got down to the guy looking at me, it was my airman :D.  I swear that instant eye contact that lasted probably half a second felt like it lasted forever.  Looking in his eyes I could just read his mind.  "Babe.  Right here.  Turn around.  It's me.  Oh my god just turn around."  He found me first, and broke formation to look at me.  It was the most perfect moment.  I remember him smiling at me just before I threw myself into his arms.  It was finally here.  The moment I had waited for for 2 months.  The love of my life was back in my arms and was looking at me the way I always remembered he did.  It felt like everything was back to normal.  I swear, if I wasn't so dehydrated tears would have fallen.  My body tried to cry, but there wasn't enough water left to spare haha.  He hugged me back and picked me up and spun me around in a circle and gave me the kiss I had been waiting 2 months for.  I wanted to hold on longer, but since he was in uniform we couldn't show a whole bunch of PDA.  Worst part of the uniform I swear.  He doesn't show much PDA as it is but I wasn't able to hold his hand or lean into him while we were in public and that sucked.  But it was still him.  And I was still with him.  Looking into his eyes.  And hearing his voice.  And listening to him sing while we were in the car.  I missed all of it even though I didn't realize just how much at the time.  I'm so glad he's back.  Even though he'll be off to Florida for months for tech school I still get to talk to him every day, and right now, that's enough :) 

How do I not burst???

If anyone has booked a hotel at a reasonable price for graduation, where are you staying? let me know please please.
