I guess "don't like" is a misleading term - I do like 'em all in one way or another! Baseball is so fun to watch, no matter who's playing π₯° However, I do find some teams easier to root against sometimes.
That usually comes down to satisfying any of the following criteria, in order of importance:
(boring spoiler: I'm not gonna name names)
1. Any team whose fans/media have recently acted entitled to a W over my presently-abysmal boys*. Sometimes playing a bad team is a free victory, but sometimes the losers surprise you and kick your ass. That's baseball! So it gets under my skin when another team's fans act like they're supposed to beat us.
2. Any of the teams which knocked my team out of the playoffs 10+ years ago when we were good for a second. I don't hold it against them but yes, I WILL die mad about it, thanks for the invitation π
3. The chosen team of someone who was *incredibly* rude to some of my friends on here as a "joke." (I don't think this person is on Tumblr anymore but I get a kick out of their team having a bad time, sorry [redacted].)
4. Any team with a cheating scandal in living memory (although, important: I try not to be a dick about stuff like that, because it's not the fans' fault. This might be the only time you hear me mention it).
5. Any team that's been consistently leading their division for more than a couple seasons, especially if they're large market. Typically, such success is well-deserved because their owners are willing to spend handsomely in order to assemble the best team possible - a practice which I will defend until we get a better pay scheme. However, despite that, in terms of my lived experience as a fan, it does get a bit like "oh, them AGAIN?β - especially in the playoffs.
6. Any team where a former fuckup from my org is now a Cy Young candidate. This one is 1000% sour grapes btw. Especially since it happens like 16 times a year

Kelbrey is by far my favorite ship in any fiction, ever. So much so, that when I was in the Omori fandom, I ended up writing fanfiction. The only fanfiction I have ever written. OMG NO! πππ OK as a baseball aficionado, I must reportβ¦ the joke in our house is NO ONE is a Nationals fan. Lol As you know, DC is a pretty big part of our lives, and when we are there we will see games (esp if we like the opposing team), because seats are CHEAP because no one wants to go! Lmao. My daughterβs friend works for the organization, and he isnβt even a fan. lol
Also, Casey already had an existential crisis when she moved to Boston and became a Red Sox fan. She still lives her Phillies. (As a Yankee devotee, you have NO IDEA how much this pains me! πππ)
I do think they will visit Nationals Park a bit⦠but to see opposing teams. At least one of their girls will be a Nats fan, and that will bring shame to T/C. He will blame her.
I also think the Sox will be one reason T really hates leavings Boston. Giving up his season tickets will be painful. They prob go up often and catch games.
