@crying-dragons inspired me to go through and look for my XYYs! here are most of the ones i have! i guess in general i'd say they're a good way to play with accent colors (or just very contrasting colors in general) without being too overwhelming!

Barreveld! It was just a cool sounding last name I saw one day and added to my list of potential dragon names! It seems to be dutch but I haven’t been able to find any etymology.
And Videlicet! I wanted to name a dragon Viz which I thought sounded fun. I was thinking of the phrase vis-a-vis, but I tried the spelling Viz and discovered that was something totally different, and is a short form of the latin phrase videlicet! I thought having a dragon named Videlicet, going by Viz for short, would be fun! The only thing I regret is i kind of wish I made her ‘official’ name Viz and then having her full name Videlicet being an easter egg you would see in her bio, rather than the other way around, but it doesn’t bother me enough to get a name scroll for it haha. maybe some day.

Here’s Barreveld! He’s a little old man who came to Florabrisa to check on his son Agrumato, and decided to go stay in the swamp for some peace and cactus. (He grows cacti...in a swamp.) He would have liked quiet too, but certain neighbors make that a challenge haha...... Can’t have it all, I guess!
When he breedchanged from a Coatl, his whiskers never grew in, but he doesn’t mind. His appetite for fish remains as strong as ever though!

Day 21: favorite pearlcatchers
omg...so. i don’t usually list pearlcatchers as one of my favorite breeds but really. i adore all of my pearlcatchers so much. four of my pearlcatchers ended up being picked for favorite flight representatives, and of the four remaining pearlcatchers, these three i love so much that choosing them was also a no-brainer! it did not feel like i was picking from leftovers in the slightest haha
anyway these three are Riah, Barreveld, and Qirrasi!
