pheel are there marriage customs / rituals that youve thought abt for your clan? is there paperwork or anything involved like irl?

I imagine they keep things pretty simple but my progens will officiate weddings for any dragons that want it c: I feel like it's probably pretty informal, Wind's gotta one of the least bureaucratic flights I'd assume haha..they probably just sign a few papers and get a certificate and then woo married! My clan's leaders probably have some like, filing room deep within the lair to keep all the important papers and documents just in case. But of course if two dragons come to Florabrisa and say they're already married but don't have papers that's fine too. They could draft up some papers but I don't think marriage is a necessity for certain rights with dragons the way it is irl. If the community is aware of the elationship that's official enough haha
For rituals and stuff, exchanging jewelry (whether rings, necklaces or whatever else) or other tokens is definitely common. I imagine Tarragon and Moraine probably did tokens..omg I've said before (like aaaaages ago) that i view Tarragon's Sweetheart Swan as a sculture..and Moraine has a Glassbound Solarvul. they totally could have given each other those as glass sculptures to symbolize their marriage c:
And then the marriage ceremony itself..dragons in my clan never turn down a good chance to celebrate! For any occasion including marriage you can bet there's lots of music, dancing, good food (definitely cake of course!), games, and just having a great time partying until the sun rises haha. There probably are specific ones for marriages..it's wind so i'm just picturing Green foods are especially common choices. gotta get the Windsinger's blessing haha. Pistachio cakes, matcha teas, spinach bread, broccoli soups, and of course plenty of leafy green salad options c: my tundras are thriving. There's probably orange stuff to balance the greens too, but definitely more emphasis on the greens. but orange bouquets would be common!
Maybe there's even stuff like, holding out pinwheels and using the direction of the wind to predict what it'll mean for the marriage (or future marriages for the attendees!) and if there's no wind at all that day..well, good luck to that marriage ;')

But hmm.. for starters I've always imagined pasta chef goddess Ricotta is a bit of a folk legend around parts of Sornieth from when she used to travel. There's definitely dragons far away from Florabrisa that have heard of her and probably question her existence. (of course whether or not she's actually a goddess is another question, but. she is here regardless!)
As for other ones, definitely have to stretch my imagination here..hmm. I imagine in the Windswept Plateau there's a lot of folkloric songs about various dragons and beastclans and such..probably tales of legendary kitemakers, couriers, sky pirates, musicians who've played with the Windsinger..all sorts of stuff haha
i found this breed census i did for my lair in 2021..thought it'd be fun to make an updated version!
I figured my top 3 would always be Tundras, Snappers, and Coatls..definitely surprised to see Mirrors surpassed coatls, even if only by 1 haha.
Banescales are by far my most common ancient, but they don't quite stand out against all the moderns haha. My least common modern is fathoms at 9 which isn't surprising since they're still rather new, but then spirals at 10...omg. and i'm a wind lair, oops.
anyway, do you think i have enough tundras yet? i don't think i do
