I’m reading Neverwinter right now and Artemis finally encountered Drizzt and Dahlia and is explaining what happened to him. And he just drops the bomb that Jarlaxle betrayed him to the Netherese???

Could someone please explain what happened??Why did Jarlaxle betray his boyfriend???

I’m too impatient to wait until it gets explained in the books. And I have a feeling that this is not going to get explained at all and just assumed that the reader already knows what happened…
