25 Days of Sleighpairs: Bamenzo | Bonnie Bennett x Enzo St. John x Damon Salvatore (The Vampire Diaries) + “Glittering” & “Cozy”

When Bonnie had gone to sleep, there hadn't been a single flake of snow. Now, it blanketed the path to the cabin. She peered out the window as the sun poked out from behind a cloud, turning the flakes into a sea of glittering diamonds. It was mesmerizing, and she had the urge to run outside and wade through it like she would have done as a child.
Arms wrapped around her from behind and she pulled the fleece quilt a little tighter as warmth encased her in a bubble. She smiled before Damon had even pressed his lips to her cheek while the soft strumming of Enzo's guitar filled the cabin. Her smile widened as she recognized the tune to "Baby, It's Cold Outside" and she nearly rolled her eyes at the cliche of it.
"Come on, sit down," Damon murmured, his breath warm against her skin. "I got the fire going."
The strumming paused. "Er, excuse me. I got the fire going."
She could practically feel Damon roll his eyes, and he chose to ignore Enzo as he rested his chin on her shoulder, gazing out the window with her as he said, "I know what you're thinking and it's a terrible idea."
"It's just a bit of snow," Bonnie retorted.
"Fine, catch a cold. I won't be taking care of you, though."
"Good thing I have another, much more caring boyfriend, then."
She didn't argue it, though; truth be told, she wasn't actually that eager to trade the comfortable warmth of the cabin for the kind of ice cold that seeped into your bones until your skeleton rattled. Instead, she slipped over to the couch and joined Enzo, who smiled, his eyes flicking up to her as he continued playing and hummed along under his breath.
Damon followed and squeezed between her and the arm of the couch as she stretched a leg out to let the heat of the fire warm her skin. It was so cozy, she felt she could drift back off to sleep. Instead, she propped her head up in her hand, listening to Enzo play. Even Damon shut up for a minute or two.
For the first time since they arrived at the cabin a few days ago, Bonnie was confident that they'd made the right decision in ditching the big Christmas festival that Caroline was planning back in Mystic Falls for a quiet week far away from anything that could disturb them. It was just the three of them, tucked away in their own little snowglobe.
