Summer Light on Nantucket:A Novel by Nancy ThayerÂ
Pub date - 4/22/25
There’s nothing wrong with this book, per se, but I realized during my reading, and extra strongly once I finished this shorter novel, that I don’t want to spend more of my time reading repetitive women’s fiction/beach reads romance novels that never go anywhere specific about rich white people and their behavior and problems. My season for enjoying these types of books has obviously drawn to a close.Â
Thank you to Ballantine Books and NetGalley for the DRCÂ

Ballantine - the flavor that chill can't kill
ad detail, 1953
"My favorite part about working with the financial program for teens is the opportunity to influence the financial trajectory of an entire generation. Educating teens on topics I had little to no knowledge about at their age is incredibly rewarding and feels like a full circle moment for me."
Dee Ballantine, Program Coordinator, Economic Opportunity, Community Wellness
