hi who is the best legendary pokemon and why!!!
LUGIA, without a doubt... it’s been one of my favorite legendaries for as long as i can remember - well, probably since 6-year-old me watched the 2nd pokemon movie for the first time. it utterly enraptured me as a child... its sheer majesty... its powerful aura... and of course, its the beautiful theme song, which still stands as one of the greatest pieces of music my ears have ever beheld. and i’m referring to its theme from the film... though its in-game one is pretty good too, very underrated imo.
the only thing that i dislike about lugia - well, it’s not even lugia’s fault, but game freak’s - for giving it such an inaccurate typing. WHY is it not a water-type... it’s literally the guardian of the sea! like, COME ON! it could’ve easily been a water/flying-type... like, i don’t see how psychic suits it at all?? nevertheless, i still adore lugia with all of my heart... even if its typing makes absolutely zero sense. i think the impression it left on me when i experienced the second movie for the first time will remain with me for the rest of my life.
