Okay so like....I'm gonna try to not go off on a long long tangent but Jamie and Brianne were AMAZING and MEANT TO BE okay? I never saw it coming in the beginning, not until Jamie saves her from the pit after she had saved him a million times to keep her oath. I love love love how much hetero gender norms and expectations are just out the window with this pairing in their dynamics, and how much Jamie sees her as an equal to himself once he sees her in that way and isn't only a full of himself spoiled rich boy. AND Jamie sees just how much better of a knight she is than he ever was or could be and he fucking knights her and it makes me w e a k.

Its absolute bullshit how GoT ended when they'd only just gotten to accept and admit their feelings to each other verbally and openly. And it felt very out of character for Jamie's story arc and recent character growth with how he left Brianne, to me at least. I need to read like 10000 fix it fics for this whole series but especially these two and some others but its too painful still lol One day, hopefully.

So I ship Arthur/Eames like....endgame wil always be together or find each other and I've been like that since I saw the movie in 2011 (god its been way, way too long that I've been in this fandom). Back then, there was actually a decent amount of pushback against Arthur/Eames for many dated reasons instead of it being the super popular ship it is now, and Arthur/Ariadne was pushed a lot . I got used to having ti defend my love for that ship for a long time.

So it makes me pause to consider this pairing, but when I think about it, I can see it possibly working? I mean, it would really depend for me. If Eames doesn't exist or its an AU or a poly situation then maybe. Arthur is clearly very loyal and close with Dom, and probably Mal too, though Dom also tends to get on his nerves in very specific ways (different than Eames). I wonder since they're both so stubborn if it could work, or if I can only see this as a Brotp. I hesitate to say yes definitively, because JGL and Leo are two if the most pretty men that I have admired for a long time and it would probably look great if their characters started making eyes at each other lol.

So Klaus and Diego will always be my top god tier otp in this fandom but jesus is this pairing really, really trying to take that spot hahaha. I am a sucker for two angry men being angsty and almost enemies (especially two "seemingly" cishet traditionally masc dudes (which we also all know is not entirely true for either of them under the facades but that just adds depth okay)) but all the love that comes behind the string negative feelings. Especially with the added context of not only the very specific world of TUA but also their roles as 1 and 2 and how Reggie put them against each other, and how that now plays out. Its obvious that they both have a lot of respect for each other in certain ways, and even loyalty when it counts. They're two people who should understand each other better than they do since they're often actually on the same side at the end of the day, just bickering on how to get over the wall so to speak. Plus, its a perf dynamic for an AU. I half circled the best otp cause the best for me is truly ones that are polyamorous so I dont have to choose between Kliego and this lol
