Did we really have to challenge this? He was feet away from the bag... gotta love the challenge system!!! Jazz knew it... Will knew it... now, the umpire knows it, too!!!
LET'S GO, YANKEES!!!!!
One pitch, one swing of the bat, and one bad call by the umpire already. It's the wrong call. Aaron Boone actually went there to support Trent Grisham, but the umpire doesn't care about the facts, the call stands. It didn't take long for the umpire to make a costly mistake because it gave the Yankees one out. I'm tired of seeing this. I'm tired of posting about it. I wish they would finally get it right. In the wild card series, the umpires finally did their jobs correctly and made the right calls and overturned them if they didn't. I hope this is not a sign of what's to come in this game.
Trent is smiling, but he's not happy...
Once again, it's time to play, You Make the Call...
Jazz Chisholm Jr. thought he worked the walk, and I agree, but the umpire called that pitch a strike to end the at bat. What do you think it is? It's out of the box so I'm going with ball. I really want to see ABS in the majors very, very soon!!! I'm very happy that Jazz kept his cool. I wouldn't want to see him get thrown out of the game. It's bad enough that he got thrown out of the inning by the umpire and his bad call....

Once again, it's time to play... You Make the Call
This is obviously a ball, but the home plate umpire calls it a strike to end the game. Even the guys in the booth said let's take a look at it with the box, and they saw that it was a ball. They then pointed out what always happens to the Yankees and said that those close calls have been called balls for the Astros and strikes for the Yankees. They didn't get it either. It's ridiculous. We need ABS, and we need it now!!!! Look at this pitch and tell me what you see...
That's a ball. No question. No doubt. A ball... It's infuriating. I read Jazz Chisholm Jr.'s lips and I agree with everything that he said. Unbelievable. It's bad enough when they do that to us to end the inning, but between the umpires bad calls and blindness and Aaron Boone and his infinite idiocy, which took Will Warren out of the game in the bottom of the 6th, it's not fair. They gave that game away. Warren had 67 pitches with only 3 hits in the bottom of the 6th, and Boone took him out because he gave up a home run. He replaced him with Cruz, who gave up runs and was still allowed to pitch. He put in Devin Williams, which almost guarantees a loss for us, and it did. Boone did everything he could to lose this game for us, and it worked very well, unfortunately. Boone needs to go. NOW!! We need to improve our bullpen and stop letting Devin Williams pitch. What part of this is fair or hard to understand? Look at how Jazz feels about this. I feel the same way...
This has to stop. We've lost sooooooo many games because of bad calls from the umpires and Aaron Boone and his infinite idiocy. It's not right. My boys deserve better than this 😤

Although we won, 9-0, I'm sad because another bad call by an umpire took away Clarke Schmidt's no hitter. It would've been a no hitter if they made the correct call. I'm proud of you, Clarke. You did pitch a no hitter even though it won't go down in the books as one. Clarke had a spectacular outing!! These umpires new to see an optometrist very, very soon. And Aaron Boone needs to support his pitchers and challenge obvious bad calls. Still not going on a Boone rant. I'm very proud of that because I have a lot to say!! 😁🤣
LET'S GO, YANKEES!!!!!
Once again, a bad call against the Yankees allows a hit and destroys Clarke Schmidt's chance for a no hitter. The relief pitcher, Brubaker, doesn't agree with the ump, and neither did I. On instant replay, it was obviously a strike because the batter did not hold up. That's a shame. Ironically, it was Yankees ex catcher, Gary Sanchez, who got the single. I love Gary, but he was out. Just saying, Gary. 😁 Boone should've challenged, but I won't get into a Boone rant about it. You're welcome😁 I will say that the umpires need new glasses. There have been way too many bad calls against my boys this year...
