Little update on Caius's tank~

I was told by a few people to add bacopa to the back and had been thinking about it myself, so I went and tried again with some bigger clippings. Also pushed them into the substrate deeper than last time to see if that makes a difference. Hopefully, we'll get some growth, and it'll block out the black back!

Stuffed some more baby Java ferns down the back of the dragon stone to try and get some more green in the back.

Also, I took an anubias from one of my other tanks and put it right in the center of the three rocks. I felt like it needed something in the middle there, and someone had suggested I should put a bigger anubias in here, so... voila! Caius seems to like it at least~

Bacopa is a flower with a split personality but gardeners may be most familiar with it’s use in hanging baskets. However, in the Indian subcontinent, it has been long been used in Ayurveda traditional medicine as a treatment for memory disorders as well as a host of other ailments ranging from stomach problems to high blood pressure and anxiety disorders.
