So, is it fair to say that anyone who is either a Backyard Resident or has acquired a sufficient amount of Backyard knowledge could potentially sublimate/delete anyone as long as they can comprehend their core data?
Delete is a harsh word, as is âcore dataâ to sum up individuals.
We donât really know enough about the Backyard to say what all is possible in either case.
Up to now, most Backyard residents (like Izuna) preferably exist in peace and avoid humans. Ariels and the Valentines she created were the only exception.
Arguably, the Backyard seems to have close ties to Tuning, which Kum Haehyun is very familiar with.
Only the future will tell what lies ahead for Kum or anyone else who seeks the Backyardâs mysteries.
Is Bedman a Backyard Resident? From what I heard by Sol's reaction to his IK, his powers and abilities are similar to the Backyard.
Hereâs the secret to being a Backyard Resident: you donât have to have been born there to eventually understand how things work!
Bedman was born a bonafide HUMAN, but because his Dream World is a means of connecting with the Backyard and understanding how the world works in such a place, he eventually adapted to it and gained inhuman abilities!
This is why Asuka was so strong compared to Sol the last few times Sol clashed with him as the Gearmaker. Â "That Man" was exploring the Backyard this whole time!
This is also why Sol has gotten stronger recently, because heâs begun to adapt and Tune himself to the Backyardâs Soul-Crushing Information Density.
Lastly, consider the âOriginal Sageâ who discovered the Backyard in the first place.  Heâs been there the longest of all Humans and was responsible for the  Merciless Apocalypse called the Universal Will.
And then thereâs Izuna who has lived there even LONGER than any human! Â Suffice to say Izuna hasnât said much but thereâs a lot he hasnât told us yet!
When did dragons enter the world in GG? What manner of creature are they? Another Backyard anomaly inserted into the material world? They seem like they're fairly common if Jam prepares them at her restaurant. Also, are beast people a thing in GG? There was an entry in the GG World about a dog-man black smith. If so, what are the origins of them?
If Beast-people do exist, they are most likely Magic Foci or Youkai, like Izuna. Â Backyard residents by nature, born from Human will and imaginary wishful thoughts.
Dragons and other mythical âexceptionsâ (Vampires like Slayer, Angels, Â Immortals, Ghosts, and whatever Bedman is) all fall in a similar category.
Though Dragons in particular are closer to Gears and were also used as a genetic base for Gears as well.
In case itâs not obvious Solâs Dragon Install comes from Dragon DNA, and Dizzyâs Gear form is like an Angel (with a tail).
Do all of the GG cast have the Jagan ability, such as the ability to perceive spirits and illusions? I know that A.B.A. has it since she was able to see S-ko, but is she the only one?
Jagan Eye is far removed from GG Lore, as most supernatural beings (Youkai, Gears, Ishu/Vampires, Immortals) exist on the physical plane as much as any Human (though Gears have more than just a âthird eyeâ, they often have six or more!).
Backyard residents in particular (like Izuna and Bedman) and Magical Foci (like I-No / Flament Nagel) arenât some low-level ghost, illusion, or apparition phenomenon, they interact with Humans just like anyone else.
Arguably, S-Ko isnât any different from the physical manifestation of a Masterghost or Servant via the Soul Sinker method of Magic.  As you know, a Masterghost is the physical manifestation of a personâs Soul (somewhat like a âStandâ)⌠so if it gets attacked, someoneâs soul will get damaged.
Itâs disputed that ghosts donât have a physical body, but instead act through the energy of anotherâs body, such as with Zappa.
Ki is the foundation element and energy compared to other Magics from the Backyard, so being able to summon spiritual energy and channel it from other beings and manifest it, seems to be one of Zappaâs talents as a spirit medium.
A.B.A. as a Homunculus has a body that interacts and is very conducive with Alchemical substances, so being able to react to spiritual energy from other beings appears to be a talent she has as well.
These abilities seem to be rare, however, not unlike Kum Haeyunâs ability as a âTunerâ: being able to tune the Ki energy of human beings.

Do you think that Youkai coud have a role in Xrd's story arc?
If they do, it might be some time yet before we see anything, since they are technically Backyard Residents. Â
Right now the threat from the Backyard is mostly an unknown, though Sol, Sin, and Ramlethal are most likely going to go there and try to retrieve Elphelt at the very least (perhaps with Ky Kiskeâs help).
Izuna was last seen selling some strange green leafy items as a Vendor in Guilty Gear VastEdge, though we donât know if he or his friends have problems of their own at this point in time.
