ur so right number one - as always, what would buffy do.  sam and dean could both benefit from starting from there

god lie to me is thee blueprint for the philosophy of the series (tpn hivemind shaking ur hand, it’s about the existentialism and the absurdism).  i said it in this post but their philosophy (saving people, hunting things) is such an empty signifier by the end of the series it’s meaningless.  i think i just would’ve liked to see the continuation of that lie to me conversation that buffy and angel have after amends (in gingerbread i think?) - “if nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do”.  like sam and dean faced with all the facts about how the universe works and their place in it - doesn’t that render their lives somewhat meaningless if they remain in those roles?  (dean thinks it does.)  anyway i think having a moment where they had some of that would’ve worked well in the face of that meaninglessness (and i think it would’ve been a cool use because the meaninglessness is coming from certainty of what the universe is and a sort of calcified meaning-making, vs. the meaninglessness coming from a certainty that there is no higher power and no true meaning to be found.  camus eat ur heart out).

Do you believe in soul mates?

I don’t think so? I think there are people that you just immediately click with, that it feels like you’re just meant to be something, but is that soulmates? I honestly don't know.

Describe your favorite smell.

The smell of a homecooked meal coming from the kitchen. Especially my favourite meal (spag bol). Just feels like home.

Would you rather live in a sea with mermaids or a forest with fairies?

Definitely the forest with fairies. The sea is frankly terrifying and I’d rather not.
