Another fun comic tidbit time!
Since we’ve now been past the gas station for quite a bit now, here’s some of the concept art/references made for both the inside and outside of the gas station! As seen, there’s quite a lot of extra tidbits I didn’t manage to show, such as the name of the place or all of Kyle’s notes fully, like the one on the register.
If anything I wish I could go back and throw in more fun and interesting angles to show off the area better, but oh well, can’t go back anymore, just something i’ve been trying to keep in mind for future pages
This is a…sort of(?) re-do post of the one I posted in a community, because for some reason that post (and any others when I post in communities) just will not appear on my blog I’ll post three more related pieces of concept art under the cut so it’s not wholly similar to the one here.
OG Post: l've been making a ton of concept art for this idea I had about a liminal space-inspired game where you explore different nostalgia themed levels to find someone who ended up stuck in here. I'm close to finishing the written concept for the first intended level and currently figuring out the cast list for it, which you can see here! It's a hotel level with the NPCs being inspired by space and astrology that constantly wear pajamas, along with some outliers, like Dorian the Doorman.
In short: it's Fran Bow meets Liminal Spaces. Though I suppose that games's setting is already pretty liminal in of itself. The concept of a liminal space inspired game is probably past its prime, but I enjoy making it anyways. It gets me to do things I don't usually do.
a VERY quick (≈30min) background concept for the warriors roleplay project my friends made. this is part of CaveClan's territory. their camp is one of the bigger rooms of a giant cave system that spreads through most of the territory — though the actual entrance is deep into the tunnels, the camp gets natural lighting, fresh air and water from a hole on the roof. the path the stream follows is far too slippery and steep for any big animal to take into camp, and otherwise the hole is just a huge fall, so the only predators to watch out for are occasional birds of prey that are desperate enough to dive in for a kitten.
a sneak peek at my animation thesis

City concept!
Some of my recent trash
I HATE backgrounds
Might clean up the animation at some point if I get motivation
From what I found out, in one of the Unused EXE FNF songs, (probably God Speed), it was gonna take place on some floating islands with a waterfall of souls going up.
So I decided to give that concept a shot. :3
