u should!!! it's so much less pressure when ur just going places to visit a pal like, you can literally just bum around the house all day or walk around the city together and it's so fulfilling but also relaxing
bee, you have no idea how nice that sounds right now. the good side of this is that I've learned I can fly by myself to a city I don't understand and manage to not have a panic attack over it (also: SOCIALIZING WITH PEOPLE, yes, that is good, well done). so possibly applying it to other, lower stress experiencse sounds like a fantastic plan, really.

It's just so far really is the limiting factor. Driving out there would take an obscene amount of time so we would have to fly, which would take an obscene amount of money and really complicate our cosplay situations. I mean, my Winter Soldier cosplay alone involves two pistols, a submachine pistol, a rifle, and two hunting knives. Most of those weapons get reused in other costumes but we still have another rifle and some other stuff to bring out and basically we would just end up checking an entire suitcase full of Airsoft guns...it's definitely on our to-do list, but it's probably going to be another year at least before we can reasonably make it...
