I keep having these flashbacks of you sitting on my bed, your silhouette illuminated by the sunlight shining through my window, and the words you speak say you don't love me anymore. 

It stops me in my tracks when I least expect it, but I fight it. It hurts, but I have to. I haven't been so good at fighting it these past few days, and I don't know why.

If I could go back I'd fight harder, I wouldn't let you leave. But I can't do that. I don't think you understand how much I still love and care for you. Even now, when we don't speak, and your memory of me is fading. I just know I'll always care about you, even though you don't care for me. And I hate that we can't be a part of each other's lives, because I miss you so much. You're my best friend, you know. You know a side to me that no one else does, and I to you. We were such a huge part of each other's every day lives, whether you loved me or not, it's still true. I just can't believe how okay you are with me disappearing.
