I have been working on a new summary for Fire, Ash and Metal that describes the story much better. After 2 years of writing this story and researching the lore, I know where this fic is going and what it is about.
Here is the new summary:
Elturel is plummeted into the depths of Avernus where Devils and Demons fight an eternal Blood War. One simple Tinsmith was snatched further into the wastelands and forced to work in an devil forge under Carixim. Dammon isn't an adventurer, only an ordinary Tiefling from Elturel surrounded by the evils of The Nine Hells as he tries to survive unimaginable circumstances. He faces challenges, escapes doom, and learns a new trade. Not everything is completely bad for one of the luckiest Tieflings alive. His story hasn't been told until now. Full of DnD lore, Forgotten Realms lore, and loosely following the Descent into Avernus campaign this story follows one ordinary NPC through the Hells and the challenges he faces. A blacksmith forged in Hells fire.
