Aztech Forgotten Gods Announcement Trailer

Lienzo Mx’s Aztech Forgotten Gods is described as a “Latinx-Fururism cyberstone colossus fighter.” (Lienzo Mx) 

European powers never landed on Mesoamerica and the Aztec Empire thrived, technologically advanced yet rooted in the ways of those indigenous to the land, but the gods of the past faded into memories. Achtli and her archeologist mother go on an unsanctioned dig and accidentally awaken a stone colossi bent on destroying the capital city of Tenochtitlan. When Achtli escapes the debris of the dig she finds that her prosthetic arm has been replaced with a stone artifact and someone named Tez is in her head and claiming that he is divine. The two journey to stop the colossi and discover why the gods disappeared.

Lienzo has delayed action adventure game Aztech: Forgotten Gods from its previously planned fall release to Q1 2022. It will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam.

The game’s first playable demo will be available for PC via Steam during Steam Next Fest from October 1 to 7. The demo highlights a showdown against Coatlicue, the All-Mother Goddess, and a slice of Tenochtitlan for players to explore.
