One of the best world building tools (if you want to build with a map that is) in my opinion is Azgaar. You can build or generate the world with all the countries, cities, political relations, religions. But the best part is the notes. You can add notes to markers, cities, anything. I found that it works really well with DnD note taking.

I... may have had a little too much fun making a map rather than writing. On the brightside, I have a map for the relevant areas of Prince for Hire now, and I can export the relevant items as .csv so I can also load the location data into Aeon without too much hassle.

This is a pretty amazing world generator, if you want a general structure for your world, this is a pretty great way to get a template to work within very quickly & painlessly

Making a map for my world of dragons although the majority of it is still subject to a lot of change!! Right now I've been trying to sort out a lot of the species of the world. I mostly have one species of the moth dragons, but it is going to take a bit :3 I kind of imagine them to be one of the few dragons who went "feral," i.e. they are not sapient. As for how they interact with the rest of the world, I imagine them to be sort of akin to brown bears, but with some neat mothly quirks to them. I have to commission someone to draw some of the dragon species so until I have that set I probably won't be posting the info on them. Honestly, probably won't be posting the World Anvil link either until I have everything set. It needs to look pretty before I publish everything.

what sort of vegetation and climate is there in A Prince for Hire?

Pardon the slight blur, but here are the roughly laid-out biomes for the Plateau (and down into Musmiel)! Dark green = taiga; bright leaf green = temperate deciduous forest; dark leaf green = temperate rain forest; pale yellow/green = grassland; beige = cold desert; brown = tundra.
For the most part, Prince for Hire takes place in the southern edge of Scadria (in the little strip of green on the river, although I might veer it out a little into the grasslands); climate is generally cold, and Scandria's capital Tesendi is overall similar to Riga.
Kiris is originally from Cym, and is used to heavily wooded conifer forests, cool summers, and terrible winters. Iiriok is from Dargoulvga--specifically that pleasant stretch in the deciduous forest, right on a river. Batar is from Msvoulga (which I just realized I misspelled on the map), right on Lake Vgor where it's pretty much a temperate rainforest (think coastal Washington state). That said, the story begins in Strauv, right on Lake Vgor.
