Zalan breathed warm air into his hands, trying to chase away the cold of the winter air. The chill sunk through his skin settling close to his bones. Harding had told him he should wear warmer clothes if they were traveling down south, it was his own fault for continuing to wear his crow leathers.
The side of the merchant shop he leaned on was keeping some of the wind off him but the gelid bricks at his back were negating any relief. The target was due to arrive any moment and he could only hope it would be a quick takedown.
The tinkling sound of the shops bells sounded and the crunch of snow announced Harding's return and she wrapped his fingers around an earthenware cup, the heat warming his hands better than he'd been managing moments ago.
"You look like a crow-cicle out here." She teased, reaching up to press her still warm fingers to his cheeks. He was supposed to be scanning the crowd, keeping an eye out. Instead he smiled softly at Lace, watching the way the tips of her ears tinged pink when he leaned forward to press a cold kiss to her nose. She scrunched her face up at his antics, looking unimpressed but he knew better. Chuckling as she pulled away and Lucanis landed on the ground next to the two of them, also looking unpleasantly cold.
"Target's in sight, get ready you two."

Here we go again! Thank you @hedwigoprah for the game đ„°
I was thinking of something playful to give you this week, like maybe you could use a word for an NSFW or, on the opposite, come up with humor, so... I've got two words. You can use one, both, none â it's up to you. Just remember to tag me when you post, okay? đ
These challenges are available to complete at any time.
They can be as long or as short as you see fit.
The words of this week are:
Gigil [ËÉĄÉȘÉĄÉȘl] â noun (can also be used as an adjective).
Origin:Â a word borrowed from Tagalog (the national language of the Philippines).
Official OED definition: âAn intense feeling caused by anger, eagerness, or the pleasure of seeing someone or something cute or adorable, typically physically manifested by the tight clenching of hands, gritting of the teeth, trembling of the body, or the pinching or squeezing of the person or thing causing this emotion.â
In scientific and casual English, the same feeling is often called cute aggression. This term was coined by psychologists to describe the paradoxical urge to âsqueeze the cute thingâ â a way for the brain to cope with an overwhelming positive emotion.
And, as a perfect addition to the main word:
Callipygian [ËkĂŠlÉËpÉȘdÊiÉn] â adjective.
Definition: having wellâshaped or beautifully proportioned buttocks.
Etymology: The word comes from Greek kallos (ÎșαλλοÏ) â meaning âbeautyâ; pygÄ (ÏÏ ÎłÎ·) â meaning âbuttocksâ.
It was famously used to describe the ancient statue Aphrodite Kallipygos (or Venus Callipyge), which depicts the goddess of love admiring the beauty of her own rear.
Now, tell me you don't feel a gigil seeing this callipygian form:

Have some post ME3 Shepard đ
Shepard glanced idly at the displays at the front of stores they passed as she walked with James and Tali through the shopping district in this part of the Citadel. Since the destruction of the Reapers a few years ago, the races of the Milky Way galaxy had rebuilt and repaired most sections of the Citadel in addition to rebuilding on the various inhabited planets and moons. Some of the rebuilding would take decades, Shepard knew, but it was a start at least.
Technically Shepard had retired from the Alliance Systems Navy after the destruction of the Reapers, but the Citadel Council insisted on retaining her in an advisory capacity. Her injuries during the fight on the Citadel had meant the end of her military career, but evidently not her service to the galaxy. Sheâd headed up more than one humanitarian mission for the Council since then as well.
Today, though, was about trying to spend time with her friends during one of the rare occasions when most of the former crew of the Normandy SR2 were on the Citadel. That included such mundane activities as shopping.
âSo, Lola, looking for anything in particular?â James asked as Shepard glanced in another shop.
âTrying to find something for Liara and Javikâs daughter for her birthday,â Shepard told him. âSomehow I donât think weapons are an appropriate gift for a five year old.â
James snorted, âNo, Lola, probably not.â
âOooh!â
Taliâs absolute squeal of glee caused both humans to pivot in the direction of the sound. Shepard blinked as she watched the Quarianâs gigil over a display of plush toys at the front of one of the stores.
âTheyâre so adorable!â Tali cried, glancing up from the display. âShepard, come look at them?â
Shepard followed James towards the store, her eyes narrowing as she realized these were plush toys that were supposed to be of members of the Normandy Crew. âYouâve got to be kidding me.â
âTheyâre so cute! Look, itâs you and Garrus!â Tali told her former Commander, holding up a Shepard doll wearing N7 armor though no helmet, with bright red hair, and another doll that looked somewhat like Garrus in blue turian style armor. Shepard watched in mild horror as Tali made the two dolls kiss, grinning through the visor of her helmet.
Shepard heard Jamesâs âhehâ and swung her eyes in her direction, glaring when she realized heâd been snapping pictures on his omnitool of her, Tali, and the plush Commander Shepard and Garrus. He smirked at her as he sent a copy of the photos to the other members of the crew. Her omnitool lit up almost immediately with replies from their friends. Most of them were amused.
She expected Javik at least to message something about âprimatives,â and stared in growing horror at his reply asking them to pick up one of each plush for his daughter.
It seemed all it had taken to soften big, bad, grumpy Javik was one little Asari girl with giant green eyes and her motherâs smile.
âI want a Shepard plush !â Garrusâs message came across her omnitool.
And Jane Shepard just groaned, tossed a glare at James, and muttered, âYouâre helping me carry the damned bags,â as she stalked into the store.

As you guys know, I was temporary responsible for A Word With Friends, since on April, 27 I got the permission to do so from @hedwigoprah (who now blocked me â as a thank-you, I guess)
I asked her to make an official announcement, but she's too busy with offline issues.
I was really proud to be a part of this event, it's that exact thing one can be rightfully proud of. But the weather changes, so no AWWF for you guys.
I also asked for an official announcement on this case, but... anyway, here you go. I hope, the blog for AWWF will soon appear on our feed, but for now the event is retired completely.
