Derek took Stiles hand and the basket in the other hand, and the two of them went on a walk. It was a beautiful day out as they walked to their destination. They were enjoying the sun and each other’s company. “Here, here is good,” Stiles said as he found the perfect spot for them to have the picnic. Derek unpacked the basket and put the blanket out on the ground so they could sit. He was surprised by what he saw in the basket. “I love these,” Derek said as he pointed to Stiles famous cupcakes. He loved them. He also loved the unique sandwiches that he made that were cut up in little shapes. Derek loved that Stiles liked to treat him to nice things. Stiles laid down on the picnic blanket and just enjoyed the sun and Derek’s company. Derek was usually busy with work, and it was nice for them to have a day that was just for themselves. Stiles loved when Derek had his soft side out, usually only present with him and their friends. Derek enjoyed the food, and he gave Site a bite of his sandwich to show him his appreciation. Stiles took a bite and smiled at Derek. Derek and Stiles enjoyed the food and the company. “I was at the market, and there was a woman there who liked to show off how amazing she was and wanted to make out that she was this big deal and she wants. Like, get over yourself,” Stiles shared about his week and what happened. Derek listend to Stiles. He loved when Stiles talked. Stiles was a good talker, and Derek was a good listener, which made their relationship work so well. Derek would listen to Stiles as he talked about anything, and Stiles let Derek be silent and pensive. When they finished eating, Stiles and Derek cuddled up on the blanket. Derek laid down, and Stiles rested his head on his chest and cuddled closer. The two were enjoying the nice day. Suddenly out of nowhere, it started to rain. Luckily they had finished all of the food. But they did not have an umbrella as they were not expecting 9oit to rain. It was April and sunny, but maybe they could never count out an April shower happening. Stiles and Derek were getting soaked. Stiles started laughing. He loved the rain and how freeing it was. “This is amazing. Oh My God, I can’t belie this is happening.” Stiles said. Stiles suddenly got up and walked forward a bit. He started swaying in the rain and twirling. The rain was freeing, and it was great to just move in the shower and dance. Derek watched Stiles with fond amusement. “Stiles, what are you doing?” Derek asked. “I’m dancing sourwolf. You should come and join me,” Stiles said as he continued to move in the rain. Stiles may not have been the most graceful of movers, but he looked beautiful to Derek. He was so carefree, and even though he was soaking, he was enjoying himself. Derek was just enjoying watching Stiles move around and enjoy the rain. Suddenly Derek felt wet hands in his own and being pulled up. Derek pulled Stiles to lay on top of him. Stiles giggled. “Derek, come on, the rain is amazing. You should come and dance with me,” Stiles said. Derek kissed Stiles, and Stiles returned the kiss. It was nice that they were just themselves, and the kiss was tremendous, and Stiles felt the sparks fly when they kissed like it was their first time. Stiles pulled off from the kiss and pulled up. “Come and join me, Derek and you’ll get more kisses and maybe something more,” Stiles said and pulled Derek up. This time Derek got up, and Stiles twirled Derek around. Derek and Stiles danced in the rain. Stiles jumped on Derek and kissed him. Derek held Stiles tight as they kissed. It was a deep kiss and very passionate. They both felt at home as they kissed each other. The rain was adding to the atmosphere and making it even more romantic. Stiles and Derek just enjoyed each other’s company in the shower. They were enjoying dancing and kissing in the rain. The day may not have gone exactly as Stiles planned, but he thought it was even better. He got to dance in the shower with Derek and got to kiss him in the rain, something that was straight off of a bucket list. Stiles happily danced in Derek’s arms as they enjoyed the rain.
