Horizontober day 19: Tree

Okay, the apples(?), I can buy. They grow beautifully in the Rockies. But an AVOCADO in COLORADO???

.... Okay, I realize this probably came from near The Jewel, but what kind of buffoon leaves half an avocado at an abandoned campsite. It hasn’t even started browning! Avocados immediately start going brown and mushy after you cut them. This must mean some rich person who recently traded for a ripe avocado from a Meridian merchant is somewhere really, really close. Sitting by a corrupted zone.

I don’t know about you but I want to meet this person. (It’s probably Nil, actually. On his way to check out that bandit camp Aloy may or may not have destroyed by that point.)

Avocado Chicken Salad Ingredients

2 cups shredded chicken

2 avocados

1/4 cup mayo

¼ cup diced red onion

1 tablespoon fresh cilantro

2 teaspoons lime juice

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Add all of the ingredients to a mixing bowl and mix well to break down the avocado.

Serve immediately.
