it’s probably childish, the way ophelia’s nearly bouncing with joy at the thought of shaving arlo’s face. maybe she’s more excited by the thought of being able to spend time with him, after what felt like forever apart, but she’s always thought it’d be fun --- a bonding experience different from the ones they’d previously shared. it’s not long before she’s standing in his bathroom, having only taken about twenty minutes to make it to his apartment, arms crossed over her chest as she studies over the shaving kit. ‘ you know ... now that i’m looking at all the shit that goes into it, i’m nervous, ’ she tells him, a quiet laugh slipping past her lips as her teeth sink into her lesser one, gaze shifting back to the male in front of her. there’s a chance it’s him that’s making her nervous, as well, but that’s a secret she knows is worth keeping to herself. ‘ so, what’s the first step ? you wet your face and sit down so i’m able to reach it ? ’ she questions, hands dropping to her sides as she bounces on her heels, offering him a warm smile. @avlo
